Immersive Content of UNESCO World Heritage 'Mireuksa Temple Site'

Mireuksa Temple Site:

Exhibition Hall 2 explores the meaning and structure of the Mireuksa Temple, which was discovered through the foundation tale of the Mireuksa Temple, the largest temple in Baekje, records from the sarira epitaphs, and the process of repair and restoration. Furthermore, it is possible to experience the 1,400-year history and culture of the Mireuksa Temple through, for instance, the architectural technology of Baekje, sarira reliquary, and the Buddhist culture and life at the temple.

창고에서 실감영상관으로 새롭게 탄생한 국립익산박물관 실감영상관을 소개합니다. 실감영상관에는 1966년부터 지금까지 수많은 연구진이 써 내려온 노력과 정신이 담겨 있습니다.

실감영상관에서 다루는 미륵사지에 대한 설명은 다음과 같습니다.

7세기 무왕대 창건된 백제 미륵사 Mireuksa Temple Site 는 조선시대 폐사 이후, 300여 년간 흙 속에 잠들어 있었습니다.

1966년부터 우리 손으로 이루어진 첫 조사를 시작으로 40년 넘게 진행된 발굴조사 결과, 3원 3금당의 가람배치를 가진 백제 최대의 가람이 모습이 드러났습니다.

우리나라 최대最大, 최고最古의 석탑인 미륵사지 석탑은 1999년, 석탑의 해체 수리가 결정되고, 20년 동안 기나긴 보수 과정을 거쳐 2019년 웅장한 모습으로 우리 앞에 다시 섰습니다.

국립 익산박물관에 직접 방문하셔서 연구자들과의 대화 콘텐츠, 실감영상, 아카이브 그리고 미디어월까지 뉴미디어로 기록된 살아있는 미륵사지 이야기를 펼쳐 보시기 바랍니다.

메인컨셉에서는 국립익산박물관 정식 개관에 맞추어 실감 영상관과 브랜딩 영상의 전시 총괄 감독과 아트디렉팅, 스타일프레이밍 작업을 진행하였습니다.
